For us to maintain our programs and our studios, we need your help, your support, your volunteer hours and your enthusiasm. There will be opportunities for you to select areas where you think your skills will have the most impact on what we do. To be sure, the school district does all it can to help us (they do all they can to help all of the district schools) but there just isn't enough to do what we must do. For that reason, parent organizations are formed at each school with the purpose of stepping in and stepping up to help sustain excellence. We can't do it without you. We have a special gift for you, too. New Voice Instructor Dr. Brittnee Siemon, who holds a DMA from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory, will be featured in concert. She'll be accompanied on the cello in one selection by Maria Parrini, a junior in our Strings Chamber Music Program, and in another by the head of that program, violist John Ravnan. It will be a tour de force of various styles, from Baroque to American musical theatre. It will be a wonderful time for the entire family! Make your plans to be with us, won't you?
